Speak where the Bible Speaks and be silent where the Bible is slient

This is the grand thinking behind most of the doctrine of the Church of Christ. The other guiding motto is that they want to follow the example of the first church in the book of Acts. Now stay with me here. It has become almost biblical that all christians should be Republican and pro freedom and go America. That is an interesting stand for christian, to be more specific, Church of Christer's to take. To be all about democracy and all about doing what the Bible saids and what the first church did. I wonder what Bible they read. Cause to be honest i've never read about democracy in the Bible. Read this:

"32All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. 33With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. 34There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need." Acts 4:32-34

Now that doesn't sound like a democracy. That sounds a lot like Communism. Sharing everyones possessions. Selling they homes and giving the money the people in charge so that no one would be in need. Don't get me wrong this is a great and wonderful thing. A world where no one needs anything is a world we know nothing of. But it sure the heck sounds more like a communist then a republican.

I'm not saying that the Bible is communism over democracy. In fact I'm saying that the Bible isn't talking about politics at all. The Bible is silent about stating what is the holiest government form. I think christians should to. May G-d forgive us for speaking about what we don't know. We are all fools yelling at the wind.
